Greta Thunberg Memes Flood Internet After Climate Activist Is Detained

Greta Thunberg and her fellow activists were detained on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, after they were protesting against the demolition of the coal village of Luetzerath in Germany.

The activists were rallying for Germany to focus on expanding their sources of renewable energy. They were detained for refusing to leave despite several warnings. The video of her getting detained has been going viral. The short video shows that Greta being carried away by police although Greta looked calm & unbothered.

Greta and her fellow activists were later released by the police after checking their IDs.
